Two Truths and a Lie!?!?

Hello All,

My name is April Grob. I am 32 years old, have been married for 13 years to my amazing husband, and we have 3 handsome crazy boys who keeps us on our toes always.
1. I have served three years in the military,
2. I have more books than I know what to do with, and
3. I love teddy bears.
I am almost finished with my Elementary Teaching Certification, which I'm really excited about and then I can move forward with my Master's Degree. I have lots of hobbies but right now my favorites are spending time with the family, taking a nap, and watching TV.

    I think it is the military, I am guessing you've only served one year. Ha. Good to see you in class again.

    That is awesome you are almost done! You will be a great teacher April! I would like to move forward to a masters degree but a break from school sure sounds nice. Haha. I am going to guess that the military is the lie, I feel like maybe you served four years. I don't know why but I feel like the years have to be an even number. Ha!

    Hi April! We are ALMOST done! So glad to have you in class again. That's awesome that you are going to get your masters, I've thought about it but I definitely want a break from school! I think that the lie is about how many years you've served in the military. I know you are a book lover, so that one cannot be the lie!

    I am going to guess that your lie is serving for three years. I am pretty sure you have said that you read a lot and by the bears in your picture I am going to say you love them.

    Hello April, Nice to see you again! I'm going to guess that the lie is that you only severed three years in the military. I believe that you only served 2 or severed more than three.

    I'm positive that you like books and teddy bears (peep them in your picture) and I know you were in the military, but I believe it was 4 years. I think I remember hearing that that was the minimum you had to be in to get college assistance (I could be totally off base here).

Teaching 6th Grade Science

Well hello everyone, Long time no hear. Having a blog is not something I'm the greatest at, lol. Well it hasn't been a full year since my last blog, so that's good. This school year has been intense and busy. I'm at a different school this year, hopefully, I won't have to move to a different school next year. Word Walls

I've always liked the idea of Word Walls but from my experience in the classrooms that I have the privilege of working in and observing in, it's hard to utilize word walls the way they need to be used, due to the lack of space in the classrooms. With district and state policies saying that there needs to be so many things on the walls already from quick step by step instructions of units that need to be up, like the fact families in Multiplication, etc., the different ways to multiply and so much more. There's not enough space to have a nice word wall without it being partially or almost completely covered. Excited About Blogging

Excitement Ozzing From My Mind!! I am so excited to start this blogging thing. It's something I've never done before but have been interested in in the past but didn't know how to get started so I just let go of the idea. I am excited to be doing this now for my Teaching Techniques education class. What makes this even more exciting is that I know this class, past classes, and future classes will help me on my journey in becoming a classroom teacher as well as helping me with the current space I have decorated and furnished below that was assigned to me by my building principal to do small group LLI (Leveled Literacy Intervention). I'm excited to see how this class will help me better teach my groups this year and better prepare me for substituting throughout the school and for my future of teaching a classroom of more than 6 students. Hope you all are just as excited to read these blogs as I am to post them.
